Using a human-centred, design thinking approach to IC has the potential to be a complete game-changer. This approach starts by placing your people at the heart of your communication design and approach. IC by Design involves intentionally designing a communication approach and experience that is right for your people, the work they do, your organisation, culture, purpose and values.

In this course we’ll share the latest tools and ideas from human-centred design and positive psychology. It’s simple and straight-forward, tried and tested ­– we know it works! If you want to be part of the IC revolution then this learning is for you.

Whether you wish to complete it all at once or go lesson-by-lesson, it's designed to fit into your busy schedule. We've incorporated self-complete exercises and further reading resources throughout, allowing you to delve into each topic as deeply as you wish.

We need to start with intention: that is intentionally designing a communication approach and experience that is right for our people, and the work they do, at the same time as being right for our organisations, our culture, and our purpose and values.   

Considering a different approach to internal comms starts with adopting a genuinely human-centred approach. In this bitesize course we’ll share with you the latest tools and ideas from human-centred design and positive psychology which you can apply to IC straightaway.

Emma Bridger
